     J3 Technologies has designed and developed two separate, yet similar, lab system interface applications. The purpose of these applications is to allow lab devices to interchange data with network-enabled clinical lab information systems.

     One of these applications was written in Visual Basic to run on Windows 95 and 98. The other application was written using Java so that it could run on a handful of different operating systems including MS Windows, Linux, and Sun Solaris. These two applications combine to support 10 completely different lab devices. Both applications can easily be extended to support other lab devices.

     J3 Technologies can be contracted to write a similar systems interface application for your organization. Such applications are not limited to medical lab data, either. Other uses of such software may include any computer related environment where two or more different systems, software applications, or devices must share some data with each other.
